CAADS strives to encourage quality, efficiency, leadership and innovation by providing timely information, technical assistance, education, and business technology to its members. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Whether you are already licensed, thinking about opening a center, or want to provide services / products helpful to the adult day services industry, we invite you to consider membership in CAADS in one of four (4) categories:

Adult Day Health Care (ADHC)

An Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) center is licensed by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Considered a "health facility," an ADHC is subject to an annual licensure fee by the State of California and periodic inspection by the California Department of Public Health.

ADHCs serving Medi-Cal (Medicaid) beneficiaries must be certified as a Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) provider by the California Department of Aging (CDA).

Within the ADHC category, there are three membership options: Pre-Licensed (non-voting membership), Newly Licensed (voting membership), and Licensed Provider (voting membership).

Please refer to the ADHC Membership Dues & Benefits link below for details. If considering or in the process of licensure, please select the Pre-Licensure membership option.

Adult Day Program (ADP)

An Adult Day Program (ADP) center is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division (DSS, CCLD). Considered an "Adult and Senior Care Program," an ADP is subject to an annual licensure fee by the State of California.

An ADP is not a "health facility;" therefore, it cannot be certified nor reimbursed to serve Medi-Cal (Medicaid) beneficiaries.

Within the ADP category, there are three membership options: Pre-Licensed (non-voting membership), Newly Licensed (voting membership), and Licensed Provider (voting membership).

Please refer to the ADP Membership Dues & Benefits link below for details. If considering or in the process of licensure, please select the Pre-Licensure membership option.

Adult Day Vendorized Program (ADVP)

An Adult Day Vendorized Program (ADVP) can be licensed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division as an Adult and Senior Care Program, or be designated as a "program-without-walls" by one or more of California's 21 Regional Centers.

An ADVP is not a " health facility;" therefore, it cannot be certified nor reimbursed to serve Medi-Cal (Medicaid) beneficiaries.

Within the ADVP category, there are two membership options: Pre-Vendorized (non-voting membership) and Vendorized Provider (voting membership).

Please refer to the ADVP Membership Dues & Benefits link below for details. If considering or in the process of licensure, please select the Pre-Vendorized membership option.
