WHAT WE WILL COVER
The state budget is entering the final phase of the legislative process with the June 15 deadline for sending the budget bills to the Governor to comply with state constitutional mandates. CAADS has organized a huge grassroots effort to stop elimination of CBAS as a Medi-Cal benefit. The work is starting to pay off, but many dangers remain. Find out what those real threats are and what actions you can take right now to help. We will discuss unifiedmessaging, grassroots tools you can easily use, and ideas for engaging your community to support this fight to stop elimination.

CBAS Temporary Alternative Services (TAS) Webinar Training

SLIDES

RECORDING

This training will include a review of guidance related to the operational requirements and approval process for CBAS Temporary Alternative Services (TAS).

Per All Center Letters ACL 20-06 and ACL 20-07 , CBAS providers have been granted time-limited flexibility to reduce day-center activities and to provide CBAS services through a modified service delivery approach including telephonic, telehealth, and limited in-center and in-home services. CBAS providers choosing to provide these alternative services must submit a plan for temporary operation to the California Department of Aging (CDA) for review and approval.
